Closing a UAE Company the Right Way
Letting a licence expire is not an exit. Fines, visa holds and blacklisting follow companies that stop trading without formal cancellation.
Liquidation is the formal process of settling obligations, cancelling visas, obtaining clearances and deregistering with the relevant authority.
If a licence is left expired, the company can still accrue penalties, keep visas technically linked, face banking restrictions, and block shareholders from future licences. A planned liquidation is cheaper than an after-the-fact cleanup.
